Parking Moron (Right)

Not the best photo in the world, but the subject of the photo is what is important.

I visited Accrington the other day on a work errand. I parked in Accrington Arndale’s car park and went away on my business. On returning I found the car on the right had parked so close to my car and at such an angle that I didn’t have a chance of getting into my car at all. I eventually managed to slide across from the passenger side, which in a convertible is no easy task!

On trying to manoeuvre out of the parking space, the car park is so thin that I literally had about 10 inches of clearance between my car and the wall, and my car and the arsehole car. A 10 point turn later and I’m out. Unbelievable! All because some KNOB couldn’t take an extra 30 seconds to straighten his/her banged up shitbox of a car.

I’ve filed this under a new category called ‘Rant!’ Expect it to have other posts keeping it company soon.

Empire Vs Ignite

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

I created this for a work incentive based loosely around ‘The Apprentice’. ‘Empire’ and ‘Ignite’ refer purely to the names chosen by the teams for themselves.

Darth was a lot of fun to draw and colour, but The Torch was a nightmare. I wont be drawing fire again anytime soon.

My lovely girlfriend :) This took a bit longer than the usual timescale because I HAD to get it right. No room for error…

Shading is going well. I think my practice is paying off.

Classic: One Man Band

Sunday, April 12th, 2009

Walking through Manchester centre on a busy Saturday morning and we come across a one man band. You just don’t normally get entertainment like this nowadays.

To top it off he sounded really good. The drumstick built into his hat was my favourite. A quick nod of the head and he’s strike the cymbal fastened to the end of his guitar. Aceness.

I think he’d win Britain’s Got Talent!

Work Guys

I’m finishing my secondment soon at work so decided to mark it by creating a picture of the team.

The image I worked from was very dark and pixelated so the coulour wasn’t great, hence that being emulated on my piece.

Still, I’ve done worse.
