Irritating British-ness
Why is it on programmes such as ‘Bargain Hunt’ or ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’, that when the show is filmed abroad in, for example, France; that the presenters speak in English to the French car boot stall owners, but with a French accent? How pointless is that? Has anyone else noticed this?
