Sperm whales are named so because of the milky white oil they use for buoyancy.

Sperm whales sleep upright and are extremely unresponsive during this time.

This photo was taken while flying to Rome over the Alps. The images were a little dim so I enhanced them slightly. Blue seemed a good colour to tint.

This is a photo I took on another overcast day while in Cumbria visiting my parents. I don’t know the hill is called but it provided a brilliant photo opportunity. Aided with Photoshop I brought out the colour of the hill with the hue’s of the skyscape.

Why is it on programmes such as ‘Bargain Hunt’ or ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’, that when the show is filmed abroad in, for example, France; that the presenters speak in English to the French car boot stall owners, but with a French accent? How pointless is that? Has anyone else noticed this?
