The Lifehacker website recently published an article about the most important 25 documents to have at hand should the end become you suddenly. Designed to help your family/friends deal with your financial obligations it is quite useful; although designed for the USA so some stuff isn’t relevant to the UK.
I don’t normally read the comments but this particular one caught my eye, probably because I have a very similar state of mind

I’ma get a “Keep me on life support perpetually and send the bill to the county” order, because, hey, if I’m brain-dead, it’s not like I’ve got better things to do. I may as well just hang out until they invent a cure for brain-death. I suppose I’ll have to follow it up with a “If my family is paying, since I won’t pay more than $8 / day for parking, I guess unplug me after $8 worth of life-support” clause.
Also, I need to find an undertaker who’s willing to dress / make-up me like Michael Jackson in Thriller, and then pose me in the casket with one hand up for high-fives and the other with fingers curled to hold a beer, and get one of those motion-sensing springboards to pop me out of there every time little old ladies come by. It’s either kick-ass funeral party, or donate my body to science (preferably something more exciting that mortuary science: launch me into space, put my brain in a jar and hook it up to electrodes, use me as a crash-test dummy, etc. — better yet, replace my organs with robot parts and reanimate me like a techno-Frankenstein).
